The new worlds that are at your fingertips (when you get your hands on a copy of The Sims 3 from February!) provide a myriad of design options and depth.

Let’s take a look first of all at decor and fabrics:

Clearly, the male Sim on the left loves the female on the right. But is it for her looks, her personality - or the face that they enjoy the same “taste” (and I use the word purely in absence of a more appropriate term) in decor and fabric design.

It would be pretty easy to get lost in that house, I imagine.

This young fella meanwhile is displaying the delicious catch that he has made earlier that day. The fish itself is pretty tasty looking, while the clock tower in the background has shades of Back to the Future. Not too sure about the boy’s t-shirt, however. I suspect he employed nefarious tactics to catch a fish of such a size, at the very least employing the art of camouflage*

Finally, this cutie has girly hair and makeup, but his suit says “I am a boy”. Sex and the Sims never seem far apart - from unauthorised software patches to rid you of the blocky pixelated effect when Sims bathe to the finely perfected art of getting your Sim to sleep with everyone in the village before death, it seems to be a popular pasttime.
